ECCHO Live is a nonprofit that has one mission: to support the unsung heroes of the live event industry—the freelance technicians, roadies, production managers, and all the touring professionals who make every show a reality.
As a leader in tour trucking, we at High Road are proud to back ECCHO Live and their dedication to providing education, community, and essential resources for industry professionals. We’re all about supporting the people who keep the wheels turning, and ECCHO Live is making a huge impact. We’re honored to be a part of their journey.
What is ECCHO Live?
ECCHO stands for Education, Community, Connection, Health, and Opportunity—the five pillars that drive this incredible organization. With their variety of programs and events, ECCHO Live equips live event workers with the knowledge and tools they need to build long-lasting, fulfilling careers in the touring industry.
Upcoming Events You Don’t Want to Miss
High Road’s commitment to the touring community goes beyond the road. We’re excited to actively support ECCHO Live as they offer education and connection to industry professionals. Here’s what’s coming up on the horizon:
ANNUAL WORKSHOP
ECCHO Live’s Fall Workshop is their flagship event, and it’s a game-changer. This free, annual gathering is all about empowering freelance technicians with guidance on health insurance, retirement planning, and business skills. Since 2011, this workshop has been an essential resource for many, offering practical advice in a non-commercial, community-driven environment. ECCHO Live is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so it’s all about giving back—no strings attached.
DAY OFF & NETWORKING EVENTS
Connections are everything in the touring world, and ECCHO Live’s Day Off gatherings are the perfect chance to build them. Happening every second Monday of the month, these events are a mix of laid-back meetups and full-scale networking nights where industry professionals can unwind, swap stories, and discover new opportunities. Here’s what’s on the calendar:
• March 10: Day Off Tour of Blackbird Studios
• April (Date TBD): Networking Night at Ole Smokey
• May 12: Day Off TBD
